Acceptable Use Policy

This policy explains the basic rules for using StockUp Quan API keys, model access, grounding, and account limits.

1. Keep credentials private

Keep API keys on your server or in an approved secret manager. Do not publish keys in browser code, repositories, logs, screenshots, or client applications. Revoke a key if you believe it has been exposed.

2. Use the API lawfully

Do not use the API for unlawful activity, market manipulation, unauthorized surveillance, credential theft, harassment, spam, or requests that violate another provider's terms. Do not present Quan output as personalized financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

3. Respect model and billing limits

Do not bypass quotas, create accounts to evade limits, rotate keys to avoid billing controls, or send automated traffic that creates unreasonable load. Account-level allowances, wallet charges, search limits, and server-reported usage control API billing.

4. Handle submitted data carefully

Only submit data you are authorized to process. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, Social Security numbers, material non-public information, or other sensitive data unless the applicable StockUp agreement and provider configuration expressly support that use.

5. Enforcement

StockUp may rate-limit, suspend, revoke, or terminate API access when it detects abuse, security risk, unpaid charges, a Terms violation, or a legal requirement. Existing API keys may remain usable while a user reviews a newer Dashboard Terms version unless StockUp separately suspends the key for one of these reasons.
